Hatsune Miku: Sculpt WIP 6

Started full force on the back hair piece. Getting the shape just right took a few days, with adding putty, sanding, anylising, then repeat. I think I got it right. I also added small raised platforms on the sides for the headphones to be positioned on. I am at the bottom of my tubs of epoxy putty but fear not I have ordered more so should have it this week. If not I still have enough to make some updates.

Hatsune Miku: Sculpt WIP 5

Some light progress. The hair is finished now. Inless I decide to change it later on. So got working on her head gear. Might redo it since it is not straight or uniform.

Hatsune Miku: Sculpt WIP 4

Small update on the hair. Got the shape where it should be, I think it is fine, Tell me if she looks fine if you wouldn't mind. Next I am going to make the small part of hair that goes under the part to the right. Drilled two holes there for assembly.

Hatsune Miku: Sculpt WIP 3

Some progress. Getting the hair right is very hard. Been sculpting then redoing a lot.

Anyways I think I got the left side down as well as the strand in the middle.
On the side I drilled out a hole then made a box out of styrene then puttied that in, then puttied the strand into it.
Hopefully I can get this hair piece done so I can match it with the back part.

Hatsune Miku: Sculpt WIP 2

OK progress so far. Going fine, Just trying to make everything perfect. I am to ocd on these little imperfections. Well I did manage to get the face done, now I can concentrate on the body. Also Don't mind the colored stuff. I am experimenting with epoxy putty(same stuff I have always been using) and oil paint. Turns out I can change the color. Helps if It is darker since I can then see imperfections better. Also experimenting with liquefying the putty so it is easier to fill in pin holes or other things of that nature.
